Outlook 2002 E-mail Setup Instructions
Step 1 - Open Outlook 2002 and go to the Tools menu.
Step 2 - Choose E-mail Accounts/Account Settings. Check the View or
change existing e-mail accounts and click next.

Step 3 - Select your default account and click
"Change"
Step 4 -
User Information: Enter your name and your e-mail address.
Server Information: For the "Incoming mail server (POP3)" enter
mail.yourdomain.com. Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain
name. i.e. Our server would be mail.sitecon.com. Enter the
exact same thing for your "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)".
Logon Information: User Name: enter your full e-mail address. i.e.
joe@yourdomain.com. Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name. i.e..
Our e-mail address would be sales@sitecon.com. Enter the password we
supplied you. Passwords are case sensitive. Make sure "Remember
Password" is checked.
More Settings: Click the "More Settings" button and proceed to
step 5.

Step 5 - Click on the "Outgoing Server" tab up top. Check the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box. Make sure the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" box is checked. Click "OK", then "Next", then "Finish". Close down Outlook.

Step 6: Open outlook up and compose an e-mail to the account you just setup. Click send and receive once to send it, wait a minute or so then click send and receive again. You should receive the e-mail you just sent. That's it, you're done!
