A screen will pop up allowing you to specify the
particulars for your account
The ACCOUNT TYPE should default to
POP, please retain this setting
In the DESCRIPTION field enter a name
for your account; you may choose anything you wish
Please enter your full e-mail address in the
EMAIL ADDRESS field (ex. john@example.com)
In the FULL NAME field, pelase enter
your name as you would like it to display in your outgoing
messages (ex. John Smith)
In the INCOMING MAIL SERVER field,
please enter "mail." followed by your domain name (ex.
mail.example.com)
Please enter your full e-mail address in the
USER NAME field (ex. john@example.com)
Please enter your password in the PASSWORD
field
Click the arrow on the right side of the
OUTGOING MAIL SERVER field and select ADD
SERVER
A new window will open requesting information about your
outgoing server
In the OUTGOING MAIL SERVER field
please enter "mail." followed by your domain name (ex.
mail.example.com).
Under Authentication select PASSWORD Authentication.
Please enter your full e-mail address in the
USER NAME field (ex. john@example.com)
Please enter your password in the PASSWORD
field
When finished click OK and you will be
returned to the account information window
Close the accounts window.
Send a test e-mail to yourself. If there are any
errors please go over the steps listed above carefully.
Please pay attention to the Authentication button in step
15.
